We are excited to release the GenPool.io referral system which will enable Block Explorers, Wallets, Applications, and Individual users to receive a 50% share (and more) of the platform fee for onboarding new users.
Referral fees will be paid automatically to the referrer’s EOS account on a daily basis as long as the user remains proxied to any proxy on the GenPool.io platform. If a user removes their proxy you will stop receiving rewards until they proxy again to a GenPool.io proxy.
HOW TO REFER A USER?
Individual
1: Log in to your EOS account (the one you want referrals to be received in)
2: Click the “Referrals” tab in the menu
3. Copy the referral link in the pop-up
4. Share this referral link through your channels and ask your friends to vote for a proxy on the GenPool.io platform.
5. Each day rewards will be sent to your account per referral if the amount to be paid is at least 0.0001 EOS. [Note: We will calculate the total referral amount paid to you, and you can check the total amount paid by opening the “Referral” menu as shown in step 3 above.]
Block Explorers, Wallets and Applications
In order to integrate our referral system into your platform and receive daily referral payments for every referred user, just follow the steps below:
- Pull the list of registered proxies to show on your platform, ensuring its the most recent version of the table.
[Please note that the URL currently ends in …&table=v5.proxies . We intend to keep this table structure and name stable, however we recommend informing us about your integration, so we can notify you in case the table structure or name changes in the future.] - Display all relevant data including APR% which can be calculated from the data in the above-mentioned table using the following formula: proxy_payout*365/total_staked
- When a user votes via your platform push a combined translation that sets your account as the referer at the same time as the users votes. For example:

In this example: proxy = proxy123456, referrer = referrer1234, voter = voter123456 (Please nominate your EOS account as the referrer account.)
4. Receive your referral rewards in your nominated account daily.
